12 years ago, Our County was violated & innocence lost... 

 12 years ago today is not the day my son lost his legs. ..

12 years ago today is the day my son committed himself, body & soul to defend our beautiful country... 

He was just a young man with goals & fire in his soul. ..

He knew he had to make a difference in this world somehow...

He worked hard in school to keep his grades up to fullfill this dream. ..

He walked a tight line all through his teenage years to fulfill this dream. ..

To ensure his commitment to our country could be fulfilled!

Our Government should fulfill their commitment to my son, Colton Read! They should take care of their own. .. a child that loves America! As we are all the children of America!

Starting this new blog?  well...IDK!  LOL We shall see if I this is an accomplishment later...

To kick this off, I have read TONS of blogs, looked for style, content & overall quirkiness!  I will be outlining my top 10 later this week.  To be in my top 10, there has to be a few requirements...
#1 I want my top 10 to be beginner friendly.  I think that is a must!  I am all about empowering women to be or or make something they will be proud of!  I am not ready to move onto intermediate patterns.  I think my brain works a bit different others!!
